I say win.
DA's emphasis on this new feature wherein you actually need to put in something constructively helpful about the artwork you're viewing is genius. This site has been known to promote ass-kissing more than any other online community as far as I know. I hope this feature helps promote a more challenging atmosphere in the deviant community present in sites like conceptart.org. Let's just all try to stick to constructive criticisms as opposed to ranting over someone's work shall we?

"criticize" is actually very different from "critique". i thought critique was a damn noun lol
So I see a critique. It's mostly fine. The piece is a very good study of male anatomy, a technically flawless piece. The critique adequately outlines the content, points out a personal feeling about shortcomings of the background, does a good job. And it rates:
Devious Rating 5
Vision 4
Originality 5
Technique 5
Impact 5
I deem it all right, the piece is very good indeed, the technique and impact are high, the vision is decent and the rating is okay. But damnit, this is a male body study, like thousands upon thousands all over DA. There's nothing original in the pose, slight originality with the background, the character differs with very few details from the average, the originality is 1 or at most 2.
But I can either mark the whole review is unfair or pay to be able to point out that detail.
